After spending many years in private practice and as an in-house general counsel, Richard Altman created his law firm with the goal of providing the highest quality of legal representation to several industries that would simultaneously be proactive, pragmatic, efficient and cost-effective. Although the practice primarily serves the unique needs of a handful of industries, we have a particularly deep expertise in the field of transportation and integrated, multimodal logistics, including international air and ocean freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution, supply-chain management and customs brokerage. The firm also specializes in the representation of companies in several other industries including apparel, retail, healthcare and food service (including franchising).
Having served in a capacity as an in-house general counsel for several worldwide corporations, Mr. Altman has an exceedingly clear vision of the most efficient and cost-effective way to attain the unparalleled results his clients demand. Therefore, the firm was created with the goal of bringing together a small group of like-minded professionals who not only possess outstanding legal credentials, but who also have an impressive list of accomplishments as executives within the industries they represent. In 2010 Richard S. Altman, P.C. expanded its practice by joining forces with Eisman & Associates allowing the firm to broaden its services to include Medicare and Medicaid Regulatory Advice, FDA Regulatory Advice, Clinical Trials Contracting, Fraud and Abuse Advice, Physician Contracts, Designing or Evaluating Compliance Programs and Billing and Reimbursement Matters.
